As part of the International Festival of Ancient Theatres in Sicily, in the heart of ancient Magna Graecia, tomorrow we are preparing to present Phaedo after Plato before the audience in one of the most beautiful ancient theatres in the Mediterranean.

The performance explores the encounter between the world of ideas and structuralist thought, bringing together the legacy of ancient tradition and contemporary theatrical aesthetics. Bulgarian words, ancient Greek meanings, an Italian libretto, and the timeless stone walls of one of Sicily’s most prestigious ancient stages.
